I believe in Christianity. There are things to happen, yes, before 'the end'. But God also says that no one knows the day or the time...so not to worry. be instead concerned with how you live your life, how you treat other people in your life. If the end is near, you will be content with knowing you did your best , the way you believed. If it is not around the corner...then you have left a positive impact on those you came into contact with. People don't want 'the end' to be so close because they are not ready. Fear generates so many thoughts.

People fear death. It is that simple. I don't fear death, I fear pain. Also, "the end" has been near since the beginning. Everyone has always thought they were in the end times, throughout history. Almost all the signs have happened...many times. If you need end of time signs to remind you to be a good and decent person, you have other issues going on.

confident, I frequently supply a t/u to absolutely anyone that solutions my question. consistently. i do no longer supply any t/d's. It's not worth worrying about. If the time is near then there is nothing anyone can do to change it. Live your life and worry about the things that matter like family, friends.

I'm not. Who is "everyone"? I don't know of any one who is. Besides, what is the "end". Not even worth giving a second thought to. Enjoy life as you have it and be thankful

That is just one way of interpreting a book someone wrote. We have been here for millions of year ; we will in some form be here for many more.

They are afraid because...
-) They don't want to die yet
-) They don't want to burn forever
-) Vendors use their fear to sell snake oil type products to people
These fears are irrational yes, but tell someone they will burn forever for doing wrong (even though ministers will tell you it is impossible to be perfect), and you have hooked a member for life...
Thats all you gotta do is frighten them, its control man, its control.
Control = power
