I often use txt on my fone, so my msg will fit into just 1 SMS package.

Otherwise, I find English easiest for communication.

It drives me mad, I'm afraid. I understand that people might use it to save money on their mobiles, and that's fair enough I guess. The problem is that this method of communication is becoming more and more common in emails, letters and so on, which is not a good thing at all - we need to be able to speak and write appropriately for the different situations and circumstances that come our way.

Do we really want to raise a generation that has no idea how to communicate properly in normal, everyday life? I hope not.

In its proper place it makes sense. One the phone one uses it to make the minutes last longer, so to speak. However, in any other format it is just plain RUDE. It should not be used here or other places where fuddy duddies (like me), are writing things.

Rudeness is unacceptable. I rarely answer qu that have that form of communication. But this questioner was so gracious as to translate for me.

Thank you.

Anything that stands in the way of clear communication drives me mad - and also any sane person. This would include bad spelling, bad grammar, and a lack of punctuation or sentence structure.

Yes, it literally drives me mad! The fact that people cannot even take time to properly use our language is disheartening at best. It seems that everything that is created in our world functions only to shorten the time we spend using it. Less time to do simple human things, and more time to read and view mindless advertising to encourage us to get more products to make our lives easier.

ARRRGHHHH!!!!!
