and what part of JIHAD (holy war) don't they understand?

Hilter was an athiest not Christian. And the few loons Christianity has in it NO WHERE compare to the mass amount of JIHADISTS ISLAM has in it. Its night and day !!!

First, YOU don't understand "Jihad." If you really study the Quoran, you'll find that it does not mean what you think it does. Of course, there are some moslems (namely those that fly airplanes into buildings) that don't understand it, either.

But, a study of Islam will show that "Jihad" does not mean a literal "holy war" as in "killing people."

While we're at it, Islam isn't the only religion that advocates for the eradication of non-believers.

Christianity has a long and proud history of mass murder of non-believers. Popes have lead the charge for killing people. In fact, scores of Moslems (and others) were murdered by Christians in the Crusades. It is factually wrong to say that Islam has more killers than Christianity did. It's just not true and you demonstrate your own ignorance when you make statements like this.

And, while you don't think it happens any more... it still does. All around the world, people die at the hands of Christians (and other religions) for being "infidels."

So... your argument shows your own ignorance.

I don't approve of any of this killing. But I sympathize with the millions of Moslems that are being lumped in with a relatively small number of murders.

Take the time to reduce your own ignorance, my friend. Only then will you be able to fairly fight the evil.

I see Jay is severely lacking in gray matter, and, I don't see this as a religious question. You will pardon me, but if I find my life immediately in peril from some wacko, his religion, or even his reason, is farthest from my mind. I could not care any less what religion these people are. The fact is, they want to kill us. If we paid more attention to "what" these lunatics are instead of whining about "who" they are, we might actually be able to seperate them from the category we have lumped them in. This is more typical liberal finger wagging. Who they are is Muslims. What they are is killers. It is wrong to condemn all Muslims for the actions of these militants. But don't be foolish enough to think you can differentiate between the good Muslims and the bad Muslims. At Mosque and at home, they look and act the same. That is why I feel Islam should not be a factor here. Who cares what their religion is! They want to kill you! Some of you are no doubt (statistically speaking) friends with someone involved with a sleeper cell, if you have Muslim friends. And that is just a fact. Some of you are being taken in and fooled, and that is a danger to the entire country. And anyone that thinks it isn't, is a threat as well. I would lastly like to reiterate the severity of this conflict. This isn't the U.S. against Iraq, or Iran, or any country. This isn't country against country. It's radical muslims against everyone else. EVERYONE! That means you (blind peace nik dems). And...there will be innocent muslims killed. This could realistically become the entire nation of Islam against the world. And a large portion of the world is Muslim. If we stop our efforts now, the entire world could eventually become engaged in mortal battle. Think about it.

I've seen your questions on here, you're a moron. And Hitler was a christian, he was raised Catholic but later became protestant and loved the Lutheran religion. Martin Luther (who started the Lutheran religion) believe in killing Jews for what they believed, this is why Hitler came to admire Martin Luther (not to be confused with Martin Luther King). You should know this, you sound a lot like them. There is bad and good in every religion, I know a lot of good Muslims, I also know a lot of horrible Christians. But I try to focus on the individual, I don't want to be in the same mind set as Hitler and Martin Luther

The part I understand is some factions out there have hate, and that's how they express it.

I have many Muslim friends, they know I'm Christian, and they'd never think of killing me. Remember any holy text has numerous ways of being interpreted, that's why some crazy people interpatate certain parts of the Bible to mean you can kill someone because of their faith. Think Hitler, Crusaders, modern cult leaders...

I don't understand why a small group of lunatics are assumed to control all of Islam. Prove to me that every believer in Islam is going to kill infidels, including my next-door neighbor who has lived in the U.S. all his life, and I'll start to worry.
