It'll run on 110 Volts instead of the 220 used in the UK, and it will also encode the discs in region 1 format that you'll need either a mulit region dvd player to play or a NTSC compatible TV.

It will be 110 volts (in the U.K. we use 230 volts).

It will output an NTSC picture (in the U.K. we use PAL).

It will be Region 1 (in the U.K. we are Region 2).

It will have no warranty (if it goes wrong, it will cost you a packet to repair).

find out if the tv uses PAL. if it dont, then it wont work unless you can select the country of orogin on the tv menu when you first plug it in.
