a high heel will : insantly shape a leg, give better posture and make the wearer look elegant and graceful (that is if they dont do a naomi or have been in said heels for a long time). but you should not wear heels for shoping (trust me...) ,in villas (ow, again trust me) or anywhere where you have to walk further than to the bar, or run. therefore flats can be used for the above.
HOWEVER do not wear trainers for anything but sport. think of the chavs in their trainers and trakies on a daily basis. NEVER wear trainers with a skirt unless you are doing a good game of tennis or netball ( oh and remember -in that case to avoid showing knickers to the world)

I would choose high heels or at least a nice boot. I hate sneakers.
