I just got my nose pierced yesterday and really like it. This morning it fell out in the shower though. I cleaned it (and my hands) with alcohol and eventually got it back in, but now it keeps slipping around, so I'm afraid it will fall out again. I think putting it in unbent the back of the stud. I tried rebending it a bit, but it still slips if I touch it at all, which it didn't do yesterday. Do I need to get a new stud? Should I go back to the shop? I really like this and don't want to screw it up. Thanks!

Thanks for all the quick answers! I know the shop would stand behind it, my dh is a tattoo artist there and they are great. I will have to wait until tomorrow to get back there though, so I guess I'll just hope it does ok until then and get a new one.

Thanks!

they need to replace it since they obviously sold you a defective product...also try to keep your hands off of it as much as possible while it is still healing...

Did you call the piercer? You will most likely need to go see the piercer again so he can fix your nose stud. The same thing happened to me. Its not good for you to just push the nose stud in your wound, you're re-opening it and it could cause problems, well thats what my piercer told me, so yeah give them a call, or go ahead and just see them. Whatever you do, don't go to the store and buy some random nose ring....because you don't know what kind of material it is. Try asking your piercer if they can put a nose screw in....my piercer put one in, and I really haven't had any problems ever since...

I hope I was helpful :]

i would go back to the shop where you had it done. they can swap out your ring and get you one that fits....

they have some with a flat back stud to keep from falling out, ask them about these types, or order them from the internet...

Of course you go back to the shop!!!!!!!! Any decent shop stands behind their work and would rather you come back and have them fix a problem than be unsatisfied and ruin their reputation!
