Ive had sort of what you are having with my first two pregnancies, it could be the baby lowering :) thats what mine always turned out to be! I wouldnt worry so much. After all you are 36 weeks which means you could have this baby any day lol. Its considered a full term pregnancy at 37 weeks. I doubt its braxton hicks they dont last 15-20 mins. And they feel alot like a regular contraction. I would guess its probably the baby lowering and engaging :)

braxton hicks are readiness contractions and can be irregular or regular and feel similar to the real thing just with out as much pain it mainly causes the tightness of the belly but as far as the cramping no one can tell you for sure but i would think its a final stretching but DO BRING IT UP to your OB tomorrow at your appt if you need help remembering then write it down where you will see it to ask they are the only ones who can give you the exam and let you know a for sure answer like maybe you are dialating already and for some reason it hurts but the doctor is the true answer so ask them tomorrow best wishes

Braxton Hicks are not regular at all. I have gotten them all the time. Im now 34 weeks with my 4th and get around 4 to 5 BH contractions a day. But they feel like someone is squeezing me tight and can have some slight pain to them, or none at all, but they are uncomfortable.

i have had the same thing! i just actually came from my doctor..and she was explaining to me Braxton hicks your whole stomach would get hard and might feel a little uncomfortable! and last for a couple of mins...but it shouldnt hurt! and the cramps i was having were like period cramps! and they hurt like hell! and they dont really know what is causing my cramps..but laying down helped me and being on all fours and then slightly sitting back on me feet with my arms stretched out helped also!

i could be wrong but sounds to me like baby may be stretching ? maybe getting into position? do you feel that the baby has changed positions, as there is less room in there, do you get kicks in the ribs? as you are seeing the ob
2moro and are not in pain then i`d say don`t worry too much,, if it is painful it could be other things happening ,,but like you say you had children b4 so you will know what contractions are like,,,good luck with baby..

Your physique is probably making waiting for labor. next time, you have a cramp, experience your abdomen on the best. If that is complicated, you're having contractions. they may be Braxton Hicks or they may be the genuine element. the only thank you to appreciate is to time them. The ordinary bowel strikes if to scrub out your rectum to that as quickly as you're pushing your toddler out, there is as plenty room as achieveable.
