i love him?

i am in a relationship with this boy and he tells me he loves me too but im just not sure. he is in control pretty much but he lets me do what i have to do. i would do anything for him becuase i kno he would do the same. when i got caught stealing he got me out of it. he is the reason why i smile and laugh but he confuses me..he will comment on other girls in my face and push me off the to the side when another "pretty" girl comes into veiw. when times like that occur i want to say "its over" but then i remember...he's been wanting air forces and when he finally got the money he boughtme yet another present instead...that's when i want to hold onto him forever but im tired of him putting me down

Sweetheart, dump him. He doesn't seem to make you happy and not to mention that he is very rude for shoving you away once someone else comes by. You don't deserve that, you deserve someone who respects and truly cares about you. This guy just seems to be a bit of a player, so for your own sake, lose him. Also, presents are nice and everything, but it doesn't make it right or give him a reason to be a jerk. If I were you'd I'd leave him and find someone else who will treat you the way you deserve.

I read everything you wrote, but two things really stand out to me. If he pushes you aside for other girls and constantly puts you down -- he is NOT the guy for you. There are hundreds of guys out there who will appreciate you and treat you right. Presents are nothing compared to respect.

My boyfriend does that sometimes but I have been with him soo long and I don't want to give up what we worked so hard to build. BUT if i could go back I would've dumped him sometimes he hurts my feelings bad and there is no reason that anyone who is in love should go through that. You really need to sit down and think about it before you decide to stay around.
