I had very light brown spotting a week before my period was due, then I never got my period. I dont feel pregnant. My fiance and I had unprotected sex the first two weeks of starting back on the pill after a year. Could that have been my period a week early?

Since you just started back on birth control it is unlikely you are pg--it is more likely breakthrough bleeding. It can take up to 3 months to get regulated on the pill.

Take a pg test, prefferably a blood test. Doctors advise you use condoms during the first month's use of the pill because of your body getting used to it and there is a good risk of getting pregnant during that first month of using the pill. Pregnancy symptoms don't usually come until the middle to the end of the first trimester so it's very easy to "not feel" pregnant right now even though you very well could be. It's best to get tested just to be absolutely sure you are not in fact pregnant because if you are it's not good to continue taking your birth control pills. So go get tested to be sure it was just in fact your period you had and not implantation bleeding. Good luck.

It would be to early for signs of pregnancy. Most of the time women dont get morning sickness until the 8th week or so. I would contact a doctor and take a blood test. Its the single most effective way to know if your pregnant or not. They can tell even if your only 6 days pregnant

You may want to take a pregnancy test. Usually you will spot and then nothing happens. Try to get a blood pregnacy test. The over the counter tests may not show the truth.

That's exactly what happened to me and then a few days later I found out that I was pregnant with my first baby.....go take a test, there's a huge chance that you ARE pregnant! Congrats!

I think you might be pregnant. Sometimes you get some spotting, because implantation has occurred. Take a hpt.
