Because if everything was always simple every one would be lazy all the time and people would be dying from obesity right and left. Whats life without a little challenge? Keeps things interesting. Makes you feel satisfied.

Plenty of things are simple, you make them to difficult. Usually the simplest answer is the right one.
But be careful...because the easiest path isn't always the best.
