I've been having a nagging pain at the top of my abdominal area. It almost like it could be indigestion, but it's been bothering me since yesterday afternoon. I called my doctor and she suggested taking two tums and putting a warm compress on my stomach. The baby is still moving as much as ever! I don't know if it could be from the baby moving around so much or what. This is my first pregnancy so all of this is new to me. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

Depends how far along you are, I had killer indigestion for about the last 3 months, if it doesn't go away by tomorrow call the doctor again, but it is likely just your muscles stretching as well as the indigestion.

It's called a uterine "hot spot" That's what i call them anyway. I have the same thing, and have had it with both pregnancies as well. It's a thin spot in your uterus and is quite painful isn't it? Mine keeps me up at night it hurts so bad. It does NOT get better near the end let me tell you. I cant' wait to deliver so it's finally over. I use Myoflex to rub on the area and numb the pain.

Oh yes! I am 25 weeks pregnant, and was scared that something was wrong, even though baby was moving around alot. I went to the doctor, and she said it was just my ligaments stretching, making more room for baby. Its okay, but if it starts getting too intense to handle, go to your doctor immediatley. by the way, these are also called braxton hicks contractions!
