This CD seems to what to use flash to evenplay in my PC which is odd to me, usually a CD just plays via Window Media Player, but this CD wants me to load something new, register on-line, etc, etc. Anyone ever run into this? What can I use to rip the songs off into Mmp3 files that I can play wherever I want without lugging that CD around?

Just close the thing that it wants to install, click exit or whatever - it sounds like you have an enhanced cd and quicktime is trying to run.
After you've closed it though, you should be able to open media player, and just rip it like normally

Try to do it via real player. And try to copy either while being on the internet so that windows media player can recognize the cd. I had a cd that would not copy while I was on the internet and I turned it off and it was fine. Try that as well.

Look in your program files for a sound recorder. maybe Creative. Or a file converter.
