Air-fare and hotel are paid but trying to figure out how much cash (USD) to bring to truly enjoy the vacation... Know that this is fairly open ended but any help is appreciated...

i live in malta now, depending on which area your hotel is costs will vary. The prices for cab fare is fairly reasonable, bus fare is dirt cheap (and you can buy a week pass to save even more) eating out can be costly and paying for entrances to certain things will add up as well. For 2 people to truly enjoy themselves I would say bring around $1000-$1200 for the week and you will probably have change left over.
