It's creative, that's what life is all about...if noone ever overexhagerated or made something up...life would be plain, dull, boring..who cares if it is construed as a lie...thats reality...a life revolved around what is, what isnt and what "possibly could be"..

Depends on what you do with the made up story.
If you mean to mislead someone, it is a lie. If you want to spare someone pain, emotional or physiological, it could be a white lie.
If you are making it up to write a fictional story, it is not a lie.

If the intent is to create a story for storytelling then no. If the intent is to deceive someone then yes, that is the definition of a lie.

Depends on why you're doing it. If you expect someone to believe you and act accordingly, then it's a lie. If not, then it's a story or a joke.
