Adolf Hitler was an Austrian who came to power in Germany in the late 1930's who proceeded to build a dictatorial state there by steadily whittling away at the common liberties of that nation with political moves that he said were being done to PROTECT AND SECURE THE NATION AGAISNT THREATS FROM THEIR ENEMIES and before anyone woke up to what was going on He had created a state that was SO SECURE AGAISNT THEIR ENEMIES THEY HAD NO PERSONAL FREEDOMS LEFT---- and then the state decided that any thing and any body that held a different view of things than the OFFICIAL VIEW---- were enemies OF the state and they were summarily jailed and or shot for not being loyal !! Then is when all kinds of other things began to happen from this man----he began invading his neighbors one after another in brutal "surprise attacks" and going after the Jewish people (proceded to murder some six million of them over a short history of brutality) and many other extremely serious infractions of human AND global law !!! Particulars can be found in any decent history book and anyone not familiar with the story should do their best to correct that as soon as they could----especially the part where in his rise to dictatorship he sold people on the need to give up all their liberties in the name of security !!!! Should have some vague paralell for people in today's headlines !!!!!!!!!

Adolph Hitler was a megalomaniac who, by the whims of fate and the machinations of Hitler and other disillusioned Germans of that era was able to come to power on the platform of German reform that would once again make them a world power. He was the innovator and prime motivator of the holocaust, in which millions of Jews and others were slaughtered and the main reason for World War two. He was quite insane at the end of his reign but his earlier life was spent as an aspiring artist and feverish orator. To learn more about where he was coming from read Mein Kampf. Go to the library or, heck, just type Adolf Hitler into Yahoo and see what they offer. Knowledge is great and, "He who forgets the past is doomed to repeat it." Actually, if you look up the Treaty of Versailles, it's part of what caused Hitler to feel emasculated.

he was not german, he was austrian.

that's like saying a brit is american.

anyway, he was a dude with a plan. his plan failed.

he wanted to create a white utopia and eliminate jews and enslave all non-whites. for some strange reason, he was allied with the japanese though.

i think he was a german and part jewish, who disliked the jews. He sent them to concentration camps causing millions to starve to death..families were separated, people were "numbered" and everyone lost their identities. this was what you'd know as the HOLOCAUST . Hitler created the holocaust..tsk tsk tsk
