I was just wondering the same thing, I'm going to bundle up my daughter and I and go to the grocery store and get it over with.

It sounds like a good idea to do your shopping now, busy or not busy. You might not feel like going out in the cold right now. But come tomorrow you won't have much of a choice. You might be stuck in the house with limited amount of groceries and for how long you don't know. While you are at the store.... stock up on frozen and canned food, cleaning supplies, and toiletries. From the way it sounds you could be house bound for a long time.

6-8 inches isn't much unless you're in upstate NY where they've already got 100 inches or more! Better to be cold now than cold and hungry later on! But if you live in a place where it regularly snows, everyone should be able to handle 6 to 8 inches.

Only if there are things you may need to buy in the next day or so - might be hard going for a couple of days - not just for you getting to the store, but for the delivery trucks too.

If you don't need to, don't. I always wondered what everyone did with all of the milk and bread they stock up over and over on the nights before a snowstorm -- make a lot of French Toast?

Yes, if you need essentials, then go. You never know about the weather, you might get two feet instead and not want to go out tomorrow. So go now and stock up, lol.

It depends. If you have enough food in your house to get you by for a couple of days I would say no. If you have nothing in your house then yes.
