me and my finace have been trying to conceive for 7months now, however he has a low sprem count. I am due on my period today but haven't come on as yet, i have been going to the toilet more frequently for the past week its not an unusal colour or smell (i know this is usually a late sign but i know i lot of people that had it early) and today i have been extremely emotional. I know this could be either my periods or pregnancy. Just wondering if any of you guys had frequent urination as an early sign of pergnancy, and do you think its more likely to be a period?
I know alot of you are going to say 'take a test' so any answers apart from that pleas!! i will take a test in a few days if i havent *** on by thn. Thankyou v. much!!

yes i did that was about the only symptom i had sounding positive i have my fingers and toes crossed for you good luck keep us updated

Frequent urination is a classic early sign of pregnancy. In the days before pregnancy tests, that was always said to be one of the first ways of telling you were pregnant.
Your emotional state is probably due to the fact that this is very important to you and you have all your hopes invested.
It's a good idea to wait a few days to do a test. I hope it works out for you!

Change in smell to your urine is a sign of infection not a sign of pregnancy. Frequent urination doesn't happen until the baby and utrerus puts weight on your bladder, IF you were pregnant now i highely doubt the microscopic change of weight would make you pee moure. I think you might have a urinary tract infection from all the sex you've obviously been having. Sorry! Best of luck with your test though. I hope it's a big positive!

You never know you may just be...but I know that every month before I became pregnant I was really anxious and wanting to know if I was or not. So my period was always late by a day or 2. With having to go to the washroom alot I have bladder problems anyway so I wouldn't of noticed that. I did notice though that I was tired more frequently as well. Good luck and hope things work out!!

I get frequent urination before my period and it's only happened as I got older so maybe it's just happening now as a sign of pms. I also get extremely emotional too during pms. Your period can be a little late, I don't think you can tell yet but good luck!

could be! i often go to the toilet alot more when my period is on the way....guess its there being less room for my bladder lol! if its a wierd colour it could be due to a pregnancy, but it could also be due to a change in your diet. dont get your hopes up as yet....if you havnt got your period in a few days try taking a test so you can know for certain! (i know, its obv lol!)

It's very possibly that you could. Honesly though I'm gonna have to say take a test, which I know is what you weren't wanting to hear. Personally I find that if I'm stressing about being pregnant I think that everything I'm doing is a sign that I'm pregnant. Its possible that you are pregnant, or you might just be looking into things too much.

It is possible that you are, but a lot of the symptoms of early pregnancy are the same as when you are due your periods. It could be that you've convinced yourself that because you have been trying for seven months - dont worry this isnt that long to be trying.
I hope you are but the only way that you will be able to tell is when you take a test.

ive had three kids and i never really noticed going to the toilet to after i found out i was preg (6/7wks) but everybodies different. im 3 wks late and ive not really found im peeing that much more. ive done a few tests and there all neg so im keeping my fingers crossed, i hope you get the right results too. xx

Yes you could be pregant or you could have a urinary tract infection. Please take a test .... I know what its like to be trying and not to want to take the test in case its negative but if you spend the next couple of days thinking you may be then you will be more upset if you are not.
If your symptoms continue after a negative test then see a doctor.

that was a very early symptom for me with my first. there is a way to know by checking your own cervix, if its hard like your chin its closed and you're likely prego, if its soft like your nose you're likely not. also if its an issue of money on the test they carry them at the dollar store you could buy 5 and take them all to be sure
