It might just be me. But is Valentine's Day just an day that the retail establisment can get us singles depressed. I mean I don't have a gf yet. Every year because of the big push for v day stuff. I get pissed. Gee thanks world.

The small holidays are now becoming big commerical holidays. St. Patricts day which was once celebrated by wearing green, or something we made at school. Now has items for sale the pass two weeks, with more to come until that day.
Super Bowl Sunday was just a family/friends party, now there are plates, cakes, hates, and tee shirts from both teams.
I wish that the store would all close one day a week to celebrate family day. it is so depressing to have so much commerializm tied into a holiday.
