Even before this year, people have always made fun of the Grammys for various reasons. How do you feel?

Well, it is pretty much a popularity contest, and popular does not usually equal good, in my opinion. I don't believe in celebrating celebrity and millionaire musicians who may or may not have succeeded on their own talents. So I don't take the Grammys very seriously. It seems like maybe the people who should be getting the award should be the people responsible for advertising the artists rather than the artists themselves. On the other hand, just because something is popular does not necessarily mean that it's not good, so I'm not saying that you should make fun of someone for winning one.

I think it is a distinguished award in the music community. Much more than the Billboard Music Awards, Teen Choice, MTV, and other little dumb award shows like those.
