Ok so I am the travel Coordinator for my company and the manager want to stop by my office tomorrow to give me a valentine gift??? What should I think about it I got a Christmas gift for all the hotels we do business with but not a valentine’s gift? Am I over thinking things here?

usually people dont give out random valentine's day gifts unless you're on that level w/ the person...christmas is a major universal holiday than the more intimate valentine's day. if you got them a valentine's day gift, then all the other non-major holidays like st. patricks day or labor day or memorial day would be up for grabs as well. i say stick with christmas!

It is hard to say not knowing your office policies or general working atmosphere.

But it depends on the gift. Some flowers or candy can be a nice gesture if given in the sense of employee to employee (especially if it is done to other employees) but if your manager gives it only to you and/or seems to indicate some amorous intentions I would be concerned.

Jewelry and anything more personal should raise the "red flag".
