You took an ovulation test basically a week after your period and it was positive? Ovulation tests can be very hard to read since there is almost always a line, the test line has to be DARKER than the reference line. It is possible to ovulate on day 8, but not too many women do. Of course every woman is different, a normal ovulation range is day 12 through day 16. But day 8 is certainly possible. I would keep taking the ovulation tests through day 18 and see if you get a better positive.

I get my period every 26 days and that means that i ovulate on the 9th day after my period end. I went to my doctor and he told me when I ovulate. That is how i know when it happens. And I get this really sharp pain on my side and my doctor told me that was me ovulating. If you think you ovulated that soon the changes are you have. Only you know your body.

It is possible to ovulate that early. I ovulate around day 10 of my cycle. Normally it is day 14. It's okay that you ovulate early, it won't cause any problems. Some women ovulate too late in their cylce making their risk of miscarriage higher. Hope that helps.

Ovulated? It's possible (anything is possible) highly unlikely but even if you did, there is nothing for the egg/zygote to attach to. that's what all the blood is for.
