HI Everyone!
I had a D&C on 1/17/07 after not finding a heartbeat at 8 weeks. After the d&C I only spotted and was quite surprised not to have bled a river or have cramps. I actually only needed pantyliners and my periods are way worse than what i had experienced with the d&c.
On 1/29/07, I went for my follow-up appointment with my doctor and he told me I had no restrictions. So, of course, my husband and I started trying that same night and every other night including last night 2/12/07.
I tested positive for ovulation on 1/31/07 and 2/1/07. My husband and I were wondering when is it a good time to test for pregnancy?
i have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms which started on 1/9/07. My symptoms have been the following: difficulty sleeping, frequent urination, bloated abdomen which is quite noticeable and extreme fatigue.
I am also wondering has anyone else experienced after a miscarriage that your next pregnancy gets you pretty bloated or you start "showing" quickly?

I had a DC in Oct of last year with same experience as you. But after a few weeks I began to bleed like a period. I also had positive pregnancy and ovulation tests until Dec!!!! It is very frustrating and confusing. Apparently the pg hormone stayed with me for quite a long time. My Dr wasn't concerned and said sometimes it takes time. I went in for my followup 2 weeks after and she said to try again, like you no restrictions. It is now feb and I am having some problems and have to go in for an ultrsound. Hopefully you are pregnant but I would wait to see. I have heard that you are very fertile and can become pg right after w/o even having a period. I cant imagine you would be having pg symptoms like that this soon though. Good luck!

A pregnancy test can still show up positive after you have had a miscarriage, I believe it is up to a month after. So wait till 2/17 to take a test just in case, this is one of those rare chances of you getting a false positive and I would think it is better not to get your hopes up by getting a positive result if it isn't really positive. It is also possible that even if all the hormones were out of your system already that you could end up with a negative for testing too early.

I got pregnant within 2 weeks of a miscarriage and had a healthy boy who's now nine!!! It is possible you may have conceived during that time. I'd suggest taking a test now and again in a week if you get a negative result. Your cycle has not regulated itself so you can't be sure of when you ovulated. I wish you nothing but happiness!!!! Good luck!

I had GBS while pregnant with my moment and the whole lot grew to become out OK. I went into exertions swiftly and they did not have time to deliver me the complete dose of penicillin earlier than she. She needed to keep within the sanatorium for a further day to run assessments however she is good and kicking four years later.
