Let her go without a diaper for 10-15 min a few times a day...the best way to combat diaper rash is fresh air. If nothing changes after a few days, then you need to consider an allergy and if it gets increasingly worse(skin breaking down)then you should consider a yeast infection and take her to the pediatrician. Also, Dr. Smith's is by far the best stuff I've found-Destin and stuff like that just rubbed off into my son's diaper. Dr. Smith's Stays put! As soon as I see his bottom get red, I leave his diaper off and that always stops it. Good luck!

Try a different diaper brand. Some brands just make baby's bottom sweaty all the time so you can't get rid of diaper rash. Creams that you use should have zinc oxide so it could keep baby's urine to not get in touch with the skin. But before you put the cream, the bottom should be completely dry, otherwise the cream will just seal the moisture onto the skin. Leave her bottom out for a while before you put the new diaper. Try a different brand of wet towels to clean the bottom - some can irritate the skin badly. Or justg use a wet cloth. Never keep the baby with a BM in the diaper for a long time, it gives the worst rash of all. You can also take some stool to a lab to check for yeast (you can ask your doctor about that) - that also could be a reason for persistent rash. If nothing helps, maybe your baby's skin is just too delicate so s/he will have a rash until she is out of diapers.

I found that leaving my girl diaper free several times a day for about 5-10 minutes helped. I also used a different diaper rash product because I found that the "creams" were actually make it worse for her. We use Aquaphor now, which cleared it up in 2 days, and is better to use on girls anyway since it's less likely to cause an infection than some of the other stuff on the market. Oh, and before you put any creams on her make sure the area is completely dry (some wipes leave the area wet for a while).

Use a diaper that is one size too big. This allows more air-flow around baby’s bum.
Also try not using diaper wipes. My daughter had a sensitive bottom and doctor said to stop using the wipes. Just use a wet cloth. We would clean her bum with wipes then clean the wipe’s film off with a wet wash cloth. More laundry but it worked.
I was told that the wipes can actually trap bacteria next to the skin under a film and if you are just putting rash cream on top then that’s not going to help.
Also tub soaks every day and make sure that you are using a gentle soap. The Johnson & Johnson is not a gentle enough soap.

I've heard of people that actually have their dogs lick the infected area to clear the diaper rash (Rosie said something about this on The View a while ago), but I would totally not recommend that. It's the strangest diaper rash cure that I have ever heard and something about it just sounds so wrong.
I also recommend airing it out for a few minutes a day.

If its warm or has red raised bumpy or raw areas then it has turned into a yeast diaper rash which either you can go to the doctor or go to the drug store and get an athelets foot creme like micatin or lotrmin just get regular not af or anything special and then get desitin and mix the two together to make a paste and put on babies butt as well make sure he gets wiped clean at every changing and as well if you can let her be naked for like 5 minutes at a time as well put the micatin/desitin mix on every changing and that should help it to go away the presciptions a doctor will prescibe will be like 72$ for the same stuff i just told you to get OTC good luck ask a pharmisct if you need help finding the stuff

1 of my girls kept getting diaper rash so bad that it would bleed and become raw. Doc told me to make a thick paste of Balmex and Mylanta(I know it sounds funny). It worked really well. Also, change the diaper often, even when there is only a little wetness. It will take a few days, but it will go away.

Let her little bottom free for 15-20 minutes a couple times a day. Babies love it and the air is good for them. When the diaper rash clears up you can do it once a day.

Try adding baking soda baby powder on top of the cream...also, sometimes a yeast infection can mask as a diaper rash...if you can't get rid of it, go and have it checked-out.

I wonder if maybe she is having an allergic reaction to something in her diet? Have you introduced a new food recently? Just an idea, since you're doing everything else right with the diaper changing.
