I lost some sort of mucus about a quarter sized glob of goo, it was yellow, creamy in color, no blood tinge to it so i know it wasn't my bloody show. I'm just wondering if that was all of it or if the mucus plug is suppose to be a certain size? Thanks in advance : )

i believe i lost mucus plug during 34 weeks and i'm 38 this friday (feb. 16th). i've been having lots of painful braxton hicks (or at least that's what i think they are). and sometimes i have VERY sharp pain in my cervix, i don't know if that's the baby's head jamming into it or what but it made me cry it hurt so bad!

They arent always bloody at all. If it looked like a big booger (sorry LOL) then that was it.

Some women describe the mucous plug as looking more like the mucous in your nose. It may look like a thick glob of stringy mucous, thicker than what you would see with normal vaginal secretions. If you are close to going into labor you may see pink, brown, or red blood around the edges of the mucous plug. This is called the “bloody show”.----I got this from JustMommies.com----Now, MINE looked like a quarter-sized blood clot...

it's nto really a size ...it's just ..... I dont know .there.

It's kinda depends on what week you are you can start losing it anywhere from 30-40 weeks

So It's possible,I'd ask your doctor at your next appointment to check you because once the plug comes out you should be dilating more. a bit .
