Ive got a new job and spend almost 2 hours on the train everyday. Id like to fill this time playing video games. For those of you who have either one, please convince me why you like or dislike the one(s) you have, and what your favorite games are.

I also commute for 2 hours to get to work everyday. I bought both psp and ds lite, but end up selling my psp.

People are right that the psp can play movies, but they cost like $40 or more to watch it in a small screen. And a lot of stores are trying to take out UMD's for psp because no one really buys them. In addition, it gave me head aches after watching the movies in the psp. When it comes to games, there are very limited games for the psp. The games i can think of that is good in the psp is loco roco, Brothers in Arms: D-Day, and Guilty Gear. Furthermore, the PSP can play music, but you need a large memory stick for that, and PSP memory sticks are not cheap. You'll be ending up spending a lot of money like $200 for the console plus the $44.99 for 1gb of memory plus your game which ranges depending where you buy it. You can try looking for a bundle pack in costco or circuit city.

I like the DS lite better. Some people say that the screen and the graphics sucks, but i dont mind it. If i want a nice graphics, i would play in my pc, xbox 360 or nintendo Wii. The creative and innovative stylus games make up for the... let's say, "retro graphics". In addition, i can play my old gameboy advance games. Also, nintendo came up with new games. Not like sony that gave us the psp version of their old games in their old consoles. With the DS lite, there more games to play, and the games are fun. Here are some of the games i like: brain age, brain academy, elite beat agents, metroid, kirby, nintendogs, golden sun and final fantasy, and many more. Lastly, the ds lite for like $129.99. If you buy it at costco, you get a free games with it.

So there is my in put on DS lite and PSPs. Its up to you what you want to buy. =) have fun!

I'd say the Nintendo DS Lite, it's got a better selection of games, and it's still got good stuff coming out, whereas the PSP started out strong but has kind of faded.

A couple fun games I like for my DS are either of the Castlevanias, Meteos, and New Super Mario Brothers.

in case you purchase a psp and love nintendo video games then that would desire to be a bad decision for a nintendo fan! i think of youd greater efficient purchase a ds or you will sense sorry approximately it once you purchase a psp and need you would be able to desire to be working around on video demonstrate with mario or link :) battery existence is plenty longer on a ds to boot and the device is plenty greater much less costly than a psp so greater efficient value for money. maximum individuals have a tendency to have faith that nintendo video games are often purely for youthful game enthusiasts, besides the undeniable fact that it isnt genuine, basically as disney action pictures could be enjoyed via the finished kinfolk and not purely the lil' kiddies.. Nintendo dont get voted in severe console magazines as having the main suitable video games of all time for no longer something (great mario sixty 4, zelda ocarina of time, link to the previous, i'd desire to circulate on). of path, the lad/bloke gamer who isnt too severe along with his gaming and purely desires to play the occasional racing call for a pair of hours a week mutually as analyzing loaded magazine over a pint will continually decide for the psp, yet on the finished would be lacking out on some super nintendo titles. the gamer that likes to have a pint mutually as analyzing loaded magazine and end that final point of mario is for this reason the suited gamer and purely thank you to be! Lol. Dont forget the ds could additionally play gba video games so there are hundreds of video games to come to a decision from while in comparison with the psp

well it all depends on what you want to do...like the Nintendo DS which is what I have, will keep you entertained with it's really fun games and also about 10hour battery life

as apposed to the psp's pitiful 5 hour, and even less for movies

but, the games you probably want to get for the ds are Mario kart, elite beat agents which are all games guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours. And metroid prime is always a good shooter.
It's also about 100 dollars less for the ds.

You will want the Sony PSP.

First, you can play games on it.

Second, you can buy movies and watch them on your PSP. Or you can download movies, shows, and podcasts, off your computer and put them on your psp to watch or to listen to.

Third, you can listen to music on the PSP.

Four, you can connect to the internet if you are in a wi-fi spot.

Five, they are cheap considering everything that they can do and it will keep you entertained for hours.

DS all the way. While you're waiting for a new DS game to come out you can just pick up a killer GBA game for cheap off of ebay. The GBA library alone is reason to get one.
