Yes, you need to use a Parallel Printer USB Adpater. It would cost aprox 40 U$. So worth buying a new printer :)

If you purchase an adapter, be sure to get the driver with it and install it. Also, I agree that eBay is the best bet - when i was trying to find an adapter for an old Palm cradle, it was very tough to find the specific one I wanted, and many of the staff at electronics stores were entirely clueless.

Hi hi just remember that if you get the proper attachment, as most of the answers say you need, that you most certainly will need a "two way" parallel cable or you will be wasting your money.

I cant fault any of the other ideas.
But for some "out of the box" thinking have a 'accident' thats covered by your house contents and let them buy you a new one?

yea u can get the cables off ebay for cheep and just install the software driver system for the printer and then plug it in...that sho;d work

You need an external print server which has the appropriate ports for your pinter.
