What do you mean becoming?

Haven't they always been like that?

Remember that Welsh referee in the world cup who blew the whistle for half time, just as Brazil where putting the ball in the back of the net after taking a corner?

Surely if you are going to award a corner, you allow the resulting play to finish. I believe he still haven't apologised for it.

No referees are not respected in football like they are in every other game eg rugby. Most footballers are overpaid with too much time on their hands and think they can abuse referees if things aren't going their way. I think referees need to become a lot stricter and take no **** from these thugs who are supposedly role models for young kids all over the world.

not so much in college, maybe some in the NFL, in the NBA they are pointless like in professional wrestling but then come to think of it the NBA is really not basketball or a sport, its an exhibition like wrestling or the globetrotters.
