Do all the work to ensure that you get an A.
If they dont like your ideas "too hard", tell them "I'll do it all".
And then if you have to give a presentation, you do that part and when it comes time for questions, sit down and say "Bob and Lisa will now answer all of your questions".

This is why I despised team projects in school. Invariably they pair up one good student with a bunch of slackers (much like the corporate world, which is why I'm not in it, hah). The theory is that the good student will rally the troops or some such nonsense, but the real result is that either the good students do it all by themselves, enabling the slackers to score big on something they made no effort on, or everyone takes a C on a half a**ed project.
I used to look at the impact the project would have on my overall grade. If it would not affect me much, then I'd let the slackers have their way. No point in helping those who refuse to help themselves. However if it was going to have a big impact on my final grade, I'd go to the teacher and blow a gasket over the losers I got paired up with. Sometimes they'd let me change partners, sometimes do it by myself, and sometimes it did no good, in which case I wound up doing all the work myself just so my own grade wasn't fubared. Tell your teacher that these losers won't even let you do a good project if you do ALL the work, and demand to be cut loose.

I'm in that exact situation. Except if I can't switch partners/ groups or do it alone because I was assigned a partner even when I wanted to do it ALONE. AND, if I do all the work, I'll lose points because it was supposed to be a "team project"
UGH

I would talk to your teacher. He may assign you to another group or let you do your own assignment. It is very important to learn to work in groups. However, you should not have to sacrifice your grade because the other two members of your group are underachievers. If the teacher won't listen to you, I would do the best you can in this environment. Just make sure he knows your concerns. However, I would also do another project your way. If you don't get the grade you hoped for, turn in this paper and let him know this is what you would have turned in. Good luck to you!

Speak to the teacher privetly and ask her what she thinks of each idea, making sure to say who came up with what...Don't say anthing bad about the other two people you are working with, just get a feel of how SHE feels about each project. If she gives the ok to any or just one,let your group know, again not bad mouthing anyone in the group. When the project is decided,do your part of the work to the very best you can.The teacher will know who actually tried and who didnt.Alot of times with group projects,if one of the students worked very hard and did what they has to do and the rest didnt, they will be willing to give each a indiviual grade.Good luck!

Can you make a compromise?
Something may sound easy.. but it might make a very good project--if you show it in a way that hasn't been thought about before.
Believe me, if you put a lot of effort into a so-called trivial project, you might get a better result than you'd expect. How you present the material and how many ways you can support it all go into this.
If you still aren't satisfied and you and your partners can't compromise, ask the teacher if you can switch groups.

Tell your teacher the situation and ask to work alone! Thats really the only way...or if your teacher says "sorry but you have to work w/some one" then be like ok and do all the work yourself and tell the teacher that "bob" and "lisa" didn't help at all! Thats all I can think of! Good Luck! ♥

Do what ever you have to do to keep you A.
use this opportunity for future work problems. Even in the corporate world you will have to work in groups on projects, and there will always be weak members of the group. If you can persuade them to use your idea and persuade them to participate in the work load...then you are headed in the right direction for later in life!! 15 years from now you will be the boss of people just like them...and they will work for a boss just like you!!

Talk with your teacher and ask if you can opt to do the project on your own. If she/he says no, then compromise with your partners on how to do the project. If all else fails, then do the project how your partners want it, but add your own imput and touches, to help boost your grade.
Goodluck.

permit me ask you a question--- think I employed you and your companion to dig up my vegetable backyard so i could plant some greens. I presented to pay you adult men $a hundred to do the paintings and you the two agreed. on the top of the day, my backyard is wisely grew to become up and arranged for me to plant. yet your companion has been sitting under a tree, ingesting iced tea, mutually as you probably did each and all of the digging. as quickly as I got here out into the backyard, he would %. up a shovel and look like he grew to become into basically taking a harm, yet he did no longer comprehend i could see him from my window and that i knew he grew to become into sitting down mutually as you worked. How lots of that $a hundred did your companion earn? And are you being a large prick in case you do no longer provide him a million/2...or are you coaching him which you're a schmuck and could paintings your *** off mutually as he sits on his, yet permit him have a million/2 of the pay besides? once you have the respond to that, you have the respond on your question.
