I think it took lots and lots of money
they said; "Look, the Eagles are charging at least 200 bucks a ticket, I'm sure we can get at least 3-350 for them. We'll never have to work again, and then you can write whatever crappy love songs or do whatever you want with your career, but we need cash dude. It's about time to cash in with a reunion tour."

I think it was just time to let bygones be bygones. The Police are an awesome band and seeing them play together on the Grammys this past Sunday was amazing - it was if they had never broken up. They all looked so fabulous.
