Do the yellow or red quests and ignore the gray and green ones.

I've never tried it, but I heard the fastest way to level up is to use a WoW powerleveling service. I don't know which one is the best, but here's an overview I read of how the services work:

Skipping ahead to the really fun parts of gameplay sounds like a cool idea to me - I might have to try it.

hmm, either get some really good friends willing to spend time with you,
PARTY, PARTY, PARTY UP! and kkill things higher leveled then you
Go through instances, if you do one instance with a good group, you can be guranteed 5-10 bars.
(i suggest not to) get a powerleveling service.
and with a group, do what the person above said to do!
