You can look on the web for jobs in your local area or go to the local supermarket/pub/restaurant etc and ask if they have any vacancies. There are plenty of places that take students on and with most supermarkets now open 24 hours it is easier to find suitable hours
Retail you can get overtime which is a bonus or working in pubs etc you can get extra cash from tips

Check with your school, they have jobs for students lots of times. Also the local paper will help. Right now I work in a deli at a grocery store and after a little trouble that is going pretty well for me. What days and hours are you avaliable? And what sort of jobs are in your area?

Serving. Anywhere.

Most students I know make enough money from tips to pay education and living cost. Don't forget tips aren't taxable or rated. If you get in with the big-shot restaurants you can make 100$ or more a night.

Your university will have job adverts. Also try hotels, bars, resturants and shops around the area
