Spam
Is often described as unwanted email and Junk mail however this is not technically true...
Spam is the method of collecting an email address of the Internet to therefore advertise and send messages.
Hence the mail you get in your inbox is therefore unwanted.

Spam collection can be reduced by:

Not posting your email online
Using words not symbols i.e "at" not @

Substitute pork & meat and or superfulous, pestering, annoying mail.

The real truth :

The term spam is derived from the Monty Python SPAM sketch (see video in External Links), set in a cafe where nearly every item on the menu includes SPAM luncheon meat. As the server recites the SPAM-filled menu, a chorus of Viking patrons drowns out all conversations with a song repeating "SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM... lovely SPAM, wonderful SPAM," hence "SPAMming" the dialogue. The excessive amount of SPAM mentioned in the sketch is a reference to British rationing during World War II. SPAM was one of the few foods that was widely available.

Spam is a cooked meat, normally sold in cans.
It smells like cat food.

It is also a term used for the mass advertising e-mails sent my dumb companies - a surprising number advertising viagra.
