i filed Wed. the 7th... was told 8-12 days. But i was told that the government mails them out on a exact date. Does anyone know that day??

yes the government mails them on certain dates go to the IRS website and it will give you the refund payment schedule. if you filed by electronic it takes less it all depends on when it was excepted date and if you mailed it in it tells you that as well.

Checks are mailed on a certain day of the week depending on the processing center that your refund is coming from. Like if yours is coming from Texas, it will be mailed on Thursday. So find out which is your processing center, and then find out what day they mail returns on.

I don't think they mail them on an exact date. Next year do a direct deposit

If you check the refund schedule, mailing checks or direct deposit are always done every Friday.
