Just because America is sick and tired of seeing our troops dying in the middle of a civil war. And why do some GOP not think that bush lying and invading a country that had NO connection to terrorism does NOT embolden the terrorists? Now, Iraq is the largest terror training ground in the world. There are more terrorists in Iraq then in the rest of the world.
Also, Why does the GOP think that leaving the Taliban intact in Afghanastan is a GOOD way to fight terrorism?
Is the current GOP retarded? or do they just not have the balls to stand up to a president who's utter incompetence has made the world a much more dangerous place?

BTW Mr Wise,

I am not liberal. I'm so conservative i make you look like hilary in a dress. Just because i can think for myself, and have not been brain washed into the so called Neocon nightmare does not make me liberal. I'm sorry you see the only choice is to toe the party line, even though its clear Bushs incompetence is costing American lives. As a vet, i hated people like you. Sitting on your *** letting leaders make poor choices, not caring about what happens to soldiers on the front lines.

The neoconservatives that still have a choke hold on the GOP neither know nor care whether such a resolution would "embolden the terrorists" or not" (and you're right, it won't). Their objective is to find an excuse to continue sending American soldiers to die in this pointless war--because the only alternative is to face the consequences of their failure. They--and Bush--want this surge not because they expect it to work (they don't, and have said as much)--but as part of an ongoing effort to avoid responsibility. And they are already setting up the next "blame game"--this time with Iran as the scapegoat and the next target. Which, BTW, is ridiculous on the face of it. Sure, Iran is helping the Shiite factions--but their weaposs have caused far fewer casualties than the Sunnis--who are being supported by our "good friends" the Saudis. And so it goes. . . .

Many generals or even a few Repuke Senators at the moment are agreeing with you. I suggestion the Christians favored the "golden rule" which asks one to look the hindrance from the opposite's factor of view. So how might ANYBODY believe approximately being occupied by means of a international military, primarily after a warfare which has killed 655,000 headquartered on a BIG lie? But Dumbya who's NOT a Christian, however a phony christianist, believes within the "gold rule"... he who has the gold (and the weapons)... laws. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

"country that had NO connection to terrorism"
Wrong guess minus five. The explosive expert on the first WTC attack fled to Iraq.
When got into Iraq found the master mind behind the group that killed Klingoffer.
saddam has been contected to sucide bombers in Israel.
So don't say Iraq wasn't connect to terrorism.

Now for you orginal question.
Terrorists will see our people pulling out as a sign of weakness.
After Blackhawk Down we pull out of Africa and that inspire bin laden to start planning an attack on us.

"the world a much more dangerous place" it has always been a dangerous place 9/11 was suppose to be our wake up call.

If we do pull out and they do make a camp and we get hit again only harder who are going to blame yourself for the early pull out or republicans. My guess you will cont. to blame the GOP no matter what.

All the talk about quitting is giving our enemies support to keep at it and gain more headlines to the pansy assed people in this country will quit. If we had been so negative about WWII the Germans would have won. England and the world bowed to pressure from Hitler and now the world is bowing to fanatics. When will people wise up?? Victory is the way to stop terror not backing down.

Like Mr Wise says. It's impossible to explain to a liberal. They have their mind set.

I think it is obvious that voting against the action of the troops would encourage the people that are fighting our troops.
