ive made an HTML site, but how is it possible to post it on the net so others can look at it besides myspace.

After creating your HTML website and saving it in your hard disk, you need to upload it online.
You have to find a webspace provider. You can purchase a domain or find free webhosting. I suggest www.atspace.com since it's free and it has NO ADs. www.bravenet.com has a lot of free web tools you can use on your site. You can also try www.freewebs.com, www.piczo.com or even Yahoo's own, www.geocities.com !
All you need to do is upload the files online. But don't forget to check your page before uploading as it may have complications and you'd have to do everything all over again (uploading, I mean)!

You need a hosting supplier. Which will cost you money like $7.95 a month, which normally includes a free domain name (which is a .com or .net type address). There are also some free hosting services but they normally add ads to your site which make it look crapy and un professional.

Go to a webpage where they provide packages with web hosting and domain names (www.3ix.org is quite cheap) or use Yahoo! Geocities for free.

You need a webhost. There are free ones that put ads on your page and there are also places that charge like $10/month for ad-free hosting. Try geocities.com.

you need to have a server to have it on... or you need to pay for a domain name. if it is on a server it will be much like myspace where it is www.myspace.com/... the dots are whatever your adress is on their server. your domain name you would pick and that is something like www. _____ .com the blank is where you would have your adress. The hard part is finding a name that you want that is for sale.

you are going to have to host it... But do not host it through GISOL they are a scam go to godaddy they are good GISOL Hijacked my domain name and tried extorting 500.00 from me to get it back in my name which they had no permission to put in their name.
