I recently designed my first website for a friend.

It seems I am having a problem getting it to look presentable in IE 6. It looks fine in IE7. In IE6 it looks like the two side-by-side divs are pressed together along with the background being shifted to the right. I was just wondering if someone knew what the problem was and how to fix it? Thanks.

I believe the problem may be the way IE6 views the css, but I'm not sure. I can add the css code if needed.

Yes, IE6 is flaky in the way it interprets some CSS properties. Googling on "box model hack" might get you the solution to your problem.

I assure you that's a topic interior the css, IE6 is kinda buggy whilst employing complicated type sheets. We spend greater time mucking around with that when springing up internet apps than the rest.
