for valentines day im making my sweetie breakfast. i also got him a card, wrote him a personalized letter, and got him a chocolate rose.
his friends say its lame and he got me something special..

He'll love it, hon. Take it from me, guys don't expect much for Valentine's Day, if only because it's kinda the way it usually goes. Either way, you're obviously making an effort. Besides, it's a day to show the size of your love, not the size of your bank account. Best wishes.

Trust me. He'll love it. See, guys are actually these sentimental creatures that like getting those nice little things just like girls, but they still have to be all macho for their friends (generally speaking...not all guys are this way). So of course, their friends are going to say it's lame, but really, they're wishing they had a girlfriend that was that thoughtful! :)

I think he will really like your gift, if not, then he is lame...dont take offence to that either....if he truelly does love/care about you, then he will appreciate anything you do for him as long as it comes from you and from your heart! I think that is a great idea!! Actually sounds like something I would do;) If I was you I would think of it as his friends being jealous that they aren't getting the same love and attention that you are giving him!!!
