I know its a generalization but its true in the sense that if I walk into a chinese area I'll see chines owned stores with chinese working behind the counter...not so in black area.

Where are the Jeffersons with their laudrymat chains. black owned, black run, in a black area???

In lots of black area you will find a liquer store on every corner...no one black person owns it...why?

I know it sounds racist but hell, if they discriminate against you based on one factor, then lift each other up based on that same one factor.

What went wrong in the 70's!!!!

AND I agree with Queen Jasmine...I bet only blacks have heard from their race that they are sellouts for doing well at school. Are trying to be white for achieving something...we are too proned to pulling each other down instead of lifting each other up. I've only heard black say "you ain't black enough". Never hear You aint asian or white or hispanic enough.

Ouch, a few typos, I had to reread the first line. I don't know. Hispanics, Asians, and most other races? This is a generalization. Part of being an adult is growing and maturing. You usually find out who you want to be, whether it's attending school to do so or just finding ways to make it on your own out there. Friends are vital, not everyone is a businessperson, but also, not everyone needs a ton of friends. You take it from there.

I as an African American lady as well sense that females of our race get excitement of criticising one yet another. i think a similar as you too, i do not comprehend why we ought to strive against one yet another and positioned one yet another down even as different races are sticking at the same time. I now and again envy, the Hispanics the most because I see how they stick at the same time and are so proud to symbolize their historic previous. yet notwithstanding it truly is tricky to respect lots of the different black women because some do purely not opt for to act precise, some do not opt for to respect one yet another. a number of its jealousy they sense hostile to at least one yet another. I keep in mind when I first entered intense college, it truly is a predominantly black college, i become criticised through the way that I dressed, which become in additional than a number of circumstances very modest and bigger businesslike and they knew that I got here from a catholic college, so i wager they concept i become wealthy. yet I purely sense that it truly is jealousy hostile to at least one yet another!

First of all... its HISPANICS & ASIANS. Learn to spell, please. Or at least use that spell check button. Its there to help you.

Second of all... there are plenty of blacks who help out. Is it possible for them to reach every black person who needs help? No... I don't think so. But, I seriously doubt that you have ever stepped foot in any black community to support your little theory here.
Go do some research before you start making dumb generalizations like this.

Wow, that's a BIG generalization. There are MANY Black people that work to help other people in bad situations. Even though most Black people, statistically, aren't in a position to do much, I've seen some people do all they could to continuously help others. Just because it's not televised, reported, or made news to YOU, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

African Americans have DIED trying to help their own so you can close that lie right up. In a work environment dominated by whites what do you expect people to do? If you have a problem with it then leave and find a position where you don't get asked for assistance. I get so sick of people putting a color on problems that ALL people have. It's tedious.

To start a business, you need capital, MONEY. Most black
people don't have that kind of money to gamble. They need
banks and savings and loans just like us whites. You should
be proud that they see you as a role model instead of an antagonist
Besides when blacks band together to form business
whites often view it as racial antagonism or a threat. Look at
the hair care industries where black entrepreneurs have made
millions marketing their own money and products in their own
communities.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. That is simply not true. I see in this area they are very family oriented and really do help each other.
I get so angry with these racist comments that are outright lies.
Why don't you people crawl back under your rock and stay off answers.

I guess the civil rights movements and all were for fun. You own a business really? Is it a taco stand?
