we're best friends and i like him alittle but i'm not sure about him how can i tell if he likes me?

ok he's is my best friend and i love him to death but then i kinda like him then he kinda acts the same way toward me but i am not sure if he likes me like that he says he doesn't when we're around friends but when we're alone he is total diffrent he is acting like he likes me. he hugs me and kisss me on my head. and i can't stragiht up ask him caus we're always around friends. our friends and families both say we are the perfect couple if we would date and i would really like to know what to do with this problemso if u have dealt with a problem like this help me out cause i need to know what to do about this please help me? and i care about him alot and he also said that if we dated and broke up that would be a great friendship down the toilet so again hleep me

Honestly, it's going to end up worse if you just avoid the situation. You have to tell him how you feel before your feelings get out of hand and all of your pent-up frustration turns into an argument over something stupid and ends your friendship anyway. It's definitely a tricky situation, but one way or another, it's going to come out. Just make time to talk to him about it and take the risk. It could be the best thing you ever did, or it could suck. Although, if he's really a friend and he doesn't feel the same way you do, he'll still stick around as your friend anyway. You'll just have to move on at that point.

I think that maybe u should just stay friends k but if u don't want 2 do that give it a try like have one of your friends ask him or be brave and just ask him your self but if u 2 go out make sure before u do say that we still have 2 be friends OK

Obviaulsy he is afraid people will make fun of him .
If he does not say it in front of friends,
he can`t accept you.
He can`t be with you.
