I've been watching her talk show since it started and I get more disgusted everytime I watch it. Why does she portray white people as being the bad ones? She has prostitutes, drug addicts, anorexics, etc... on her show and they are white, and she will make them look like they are the worst people on the face of the earth. But meanwhile she will have the same issues for colored people and she takes nothing but pity for them. One episode that sticks out in mind was when there was a colored girl who felt like she was a white person inside. Instead of saying she was a beautiful, smart woman,Tyra kept telling her she was a beautiful black girl and she should be proud of who she is. Does anyone else notice this? There is no doubt in my mind that she is just continuously opening a can of worms. And what's the point of her dressing up as an obese woman, stripper, and whatever else it was? What point did she prove? She certainly hasn't done nothing to solve the issues that she has on her show.

I watch Tyra every now and then and have noticed she changes the way she speaks to people. Typically she is much more formal and stiff with white guests then with her black guests with who she is much more casual with while interviewing. She does have some good shows but I prefer Ellen. She's silly with everyone.

I do. A lot of African Americans claim that white people are racist, when in fact there are as many if not more African Americans who are racist towards white people. No offense. I have several African American friends that say they hate a large portion of white people. It works both ways. Unfortunately, if a white person mentions race they are looked at as a raciest, but if an African American pulls the race card everything is okay. It would be nice if racism was eliminated once and for all, but everyone is going to have to work together.
(The post below me is a prime example.) We are all raciest, but she is not. She can call us raciest, but if we called her raciest that makes us raciest. My girlfriend works at an eye doctor and recently had a white patient who was not so financially stable. Her insurance would not cover the cost of the eye exam, so my gf told her to contact the insurance company. The lady over the phone told her that if she were African American the cost would be paid, but because she is white they will not cover it. Is that fair? Why is color so important in benefits, social security, etc?
Point being, we should all be equal and looked at in the same way, with respect.

No, I disagree.
I think that Tyra Banks in an incredibly caring woman that wants everyone to be happy.
You say that your watching all of her shows, but obviosly you missed all of the ones where she stood up for white people because they were treated horribly by racist people on her show.
So, I completely disagree! Tyra Banks is NOT racist whatsoever!
** I'm talking about the series of episodes that she had for a week ongoing, about how white people are racist against white people, and colored people are racist against colored people, and she stood up for the white people**

Look how long it took for a blonde to win America's Next Top Model. I've always felt she had an attitude against the blonde models. She must have lost a lot of jobs to blondes when she was first starting out in modeling. Now's her chance for revenge.

Yes I agree with you completely, but Tyra Banks is hardly someone worth paying attention to anyway. That show is boring, vapid, and a waste of time; but of course, she's hot, so she has her own show and an hour to talk about nothing.
