I believe that God did create the world/earth and the universe. Evolution has been proved wrong time and time again. (it actually conflicted with several laws of physics one being that all matter deteriorates it does not evolve example a bacteria will die when left to itself it will not become a fish even though it could possibly reproduce) and I don't know of any other way the earth could be created

Yes, but not in the manner described in the bible. Nobody has the answer as to how this was done. It is a mystery and will remain so, but be content that when you look at the moon floating in space and the knowledge that the earth equally floats despite the massive weight, spins on it's axis at a constant speed and rotates round the sun every 365 1/4 days for the forces of nature to be what they are, then there can be no doubt that there is a superior being, intelligent designer or creator as we know God.

In a word..... you decide. I personaly I'd say no, but I (unfortunately) don't know everything.

Some will tell you that science can explain where the universe came from with the 'Big Bang' theory, but what is missing is an answer to the question 'What was there before' so some arguments seem a bit flakey when seriously questioned.

Others will say that the Bible tells us everything we need to know about where the world cam from, but just because it's written in a book, doesn't make it true. And on top of this is the added complication of which 'God' you are referring to.

Here is the only answer that I guarantee to be true. No one else can say that!

No one here knows if God created the universe or if He exists. I'm agnostic and that is basically just the realization that we don't know. We can't know. No one on this board was at Creation or the Big Bang so they're just telling you what they have read, what they think, or what they're guessing.

I personally believe in God. I think he created us just about the way that we're discovering it with science. There is no conflict for me. We all evolved here from monkeys, dinosaurs, shrimp, and bacteria as part of a supreme being who is working on a LONG time schedule.

Now, do I know any of this? Will I push this on other people? Nope.

That's just an explanation that works for me. Good Luck

nicely that's mentioned that god's existence is shown via fact each and every little thing that exists desires a writer, however the respond presented to this subject is that god is a common uncaused reason. the subject I see with this logic is presented in 2 varieties. First there is the theory that each and every little thing that exists desires a writer and if god is asserted to exist, then he 2 via necessity of the theory desires a writer. Secondly the theory motives on the spot issues that are addressed interior the top that god is the respond making the top the help that the theory is genuine it fairly is named around reasoning and immediately invalidates the argument as an entire. the plain and straightforward reaction to my criticism is that god exists someplace outdoors time and area. before everything that purely makes his existence much greater removed from empiricism which will desire to reason some soreness for everyone who proposes considered one of those element. Secondly his existence would desire to be actual in some understand in that he has effects on the actual worldwide making him empirically verifiable or falsifiable. Thirdly this leaves an entire length of the argument thoroughly omitted in that something undying or spaceless would have created the universe (via that logic, no longer via empiricism). Fourthly there hasn't been something verified to exist that's no longer actual in some understand which purely gets rid of it that plenty greater advantageous from being everywhere close to a useful answer.

Science doesn't have an answer to this question yet and may never be able to answer this question (although I have hope that it will eventually), so no one can answer this question from a scientific standpoint. People may believe that a god did create the universe or that there is no god or whatever, but without relying on some kind of faith the question is unanswerable as of now.

Depends on your belief, first of all which GOD?!?!?!??!

secondly yes there is a theory called the Anthopic principle which basically says that if any of the conditions for our and the universe's existence and continued existence were any different then we would not be here thus it is a signifier of a divine will.

This is not Intelligent Design I hasten to add, merely a theory that is widely held that allows modern astro/physics to exist alongside faith. The theory of a BIG BANG doesnt subvert the idea of a God, in fact it is a creation event if you wish to see it that way.

However being athiust/agnostic i cant really say yes or no. But from someone who has no religious or Godly incling then I would have to say it comes down to the individual!

No, Our souls started out as aliens in other worlds. They was stolen by a nasty b*****d similar to Darth Vader and implanted into humans beings, who were at the time running around in their bra's and knickers hitting each other with big sticks. Soon they developed tools and became civilised. We dont use big sticks anymore, we use bullets, bombs and nukes its far more civilised to kill people. Now we are waiting for the grand master who has lots a midicloreans to lead is back to our home worlds and give the nasty b*****d a good kicking.

But serious what a load a rubbish. Whoever believes that is bonkers. That must make half a hollywood loonies. It was created by a science fiction author....You think the words 'science fiction' would give them a clue, wouldnt you?

I think there is so much sience and technology someone must know what happens when we die. Someone out there knows and I dont mean that relegious nutter who stood behind me in the post office queue earlier today. A doctor or someone.

There is no "God". Hence he did not create the universe/world. Many will say that all you have to do is read the bible. Well, the bible was written by men to control men. This "God" person or supernatural being is just a control method. The bible is not a historically accurate book and should not be taken as such. Do some research and make up your own mind about it. That is what religion fears the most. The ability for individual people to be individuals and not follow their doctrine.

If he did who or what created God? Interesting challenge to the *poof* theory people. The truth is nobody knows the complete and accurate answer to how the world/universe was created since nobody was around when it happened.

Religion has it's theory (God) and science has it's theory (Big bang). Oh I almost forgot pseudo-science has it's theory to, called intelligent design.
