According to the BBC, there are plans afoot to "re-imagine" the TV series The Bionic Woman, using a British former soap actress in the lead role.

What are your views?

I think the re-make could have great possibilities. British television is a fine example of how developing technologies are expanded in the television and film industry.

The television show lent itself to the human side, more than the technology. The question is can the new show incorporate both areas equally.

Genius idea to remake but casting Michelle Ryan is a big mistake!

For a horrible moment I thought that meant they'd be casting Lou Beale (Anna Wing) from Eastenders for the part. Fortunately I was wrong.

I don't always think re-makes are necessarily good.

I hated the film starsky and hutch...preferred the vintage episodes.

Some things are best left alone....and i think in its day 'bionic woman was fantastic'........

All this remaking is tedious

It was rubbish the first time around and I cannot stand Michelle Ryan si I for one won't be watching it!

I don't have any views on it. If they think it will work, why not?

But, I do have to say that if a movie is made from it, it HAS to be Sarah Michelle Gellar playing her. She'd be perfect.
