Well no, but there have been studies done that show people who come from divorced homes are more likely to get divorced themselves, probably because they see it as an acceptable thing. I have a friend who is divorced, and so are his parents and his sister. Both he and his sister got divorced after less than a year married.

It is not heriditory as in the sense of genetics. But children growing up in divorced homes or witnessed all the fights at home have much higher probability of getting divorced themselves. Either something is missing or they believe it is normal.

Wow I hope not. My father in law is going through his third divorce and my mother in law has been married twice. My sister in law is younger than I am and divorced.. theyve all cheated too. I think a lot of times people give up too easily, they just dont want to put forth a REAL effort to making it work. I think its something that changes who you are if you have dealt with it.. kids see their parents just giving up and when they grow up they will either work their asses off to make it work or give up and divorce.

NO, I don't believe so.
It's up to the parent to teach their children how to deal with relationships even if they have failed themselves.
We as parents just have to try and steer our children to marriages at later times in their lives, instead of at an early age.
It doesn't help having all of this damned cell phones and internet that temp the weak to cheat and end the relationships that were important.
