The quickest way would be on a Northwest jet, nonstop from Memphis to LA or SF.
The next quickest way would be on I-40 through Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, NM, Arizona and finally into Southern CA.

since Cali is a big state, there are many ways to get there. It all depends on which part of Cali you're headed to. Just follow the sunset, it will be quite an adventure!

I would personlly take a NASA aprove hoover craft. They just glide across cars, people, animals, stop light and signs, poop, etc. Yup. Otherwise, I would take the freeway.
