You can date whoever you want to. If you feel like dating a cow, or any other mammal or a reptile, or bird, by all means do so. I just can't imagine walking into a restaurant tomorrow celebrating Valentine's Day with your Iguana.
However, maybe you should be careful telling the people about who are you dating, for in many cities, you could end up locked up in a mental facility.
