Paper mario for game cube?

My brother is playing this and cant get past a side quest.
the side quest deals with finding food and giveing it to someone.
Any help will be great,thanks

Bomberto's Trouble
Title: I'm hungry!
Reward: 11 Coins
Description -

First, go to the Rogueport Harbor. After this, go south
towards where you first arrived at Rogueport on the boat,
and speak with the little Bomb-Omb with a bandana on his
forehead. He will tell you to go buy him something to eat.
Now, go to the item shop and buy one Mushroom, then speak
with him again and give him the Mushroom and he will give
you a reward of 11 coins.

I love this game, and almost all role-playing games. If you want to read the entire walkthrough you should be able to find it on http://www.gamefaqs.com/

However, I do believe I know which quest you're talking about... for one of the mice, right? It's almost impossible to find on your own but... without giving the whole thing away.... pay CAREFUL attention to the backgrounds as you're walking around.... : )
