The body shop has make-up products that don't test on animals. You know by the label on the back. They can't lie about it because the label has a seal and it is passed by a certain corp.

Products not tested on animals: NYX Revlon Avon Bonnie Bell Bath and Body Works Hard Candy Mac Urban Decay Tarte Sephora brand Too Faced Benefit Estee Lauder Clinique Wet n' Wild New York Color There are more but this is what I can think of off the top of my head. Many high end and drugstore lines do test on animals so you have to be wary of both, shopping only high end will not keep you from buying products tested on animals, I wish people would stop saying this. I also agree with one of the other posters about The Body Shop they are owned by L'oreal, which TBS itself may not test your money is going to support a company that does test.

We do not do animal testing.
To reflect its compassion for animals, Mary Kay Inc. does not conduct, or request on its behalf, any testing of
products or ingredients on animals. In addition, we are one of the largest cosmetics companies to have signed
the Coalition for Consumer Information pledge promising never to do animal testing at any time in the future.
In fact, Mary Kay Inc. issued a moratorium on animal testing more than a decade prior to signing this pledge, and
we actively support globally recognized organizations in the search for alternative testing methods.

Today most products makeup & other wise have written on the label if they're not tested on animals. Read the pkg. before you buy that's the surest way to know.

Clarins and Clinique are two very good companys that have a gorgeous make up range who do not test on animals. they instead test on artificial skin and people. Clarins products including the make up range are 100% natural plant extracts.
