I noticed no one actually answered your question, they just kinda spouted off a bunch of rants.

Atheists lack the right to hold public office in 7 states (last I counted), and lack the right to testify as a witness in some as well. I'll just cite one example to give you a feel for it...

Article 19, section 1 of the Arkansas Constitution states "No person who denies the being of a God shall hold any office in the civil departments of this State, nor be competent to testify as a witness in any court."

This is one example of the rights atheists lack that "normal people" have. For others examples, see my reference.

(And, no offense taken. Glad I could educate you.)

the atheists burn in hell with the demons and the christians fly with the angels in the heavens above....hahaha you know how ridiculous that sounds dont'cha? atheists have human rights like any other person only those crooked christians get any kind of rights and tax breaks

"No person who denies the being of a God shall hold any office in the civil departments of this State, nor be competent to testify as a witness in any court."

and thats an easy one to get by on why do you think there so many wacko so-called christians running around office?

Athiests have the same rights under the constitution as any person of any other faith. They can abtsain where ever and when ever they wish. They have a right to choose to participate or not to participate in any religious event. But I think I know what your getting at, and I'll address that now. They do not have the right in the United States to deny any other person of any other faith their right to practice their religion when ever and where ever they wish, that includes on government property. It makes NO matter if they are offended by someone elses religion or not. They do not have a right not to be offended, and they'll just have to deal with that. What has happened though, is that certain anti-religion groups, and athiests have gone to battle with our Government because of a simple display of something religious like a plaque or cross. They have argued that there must be a Seperation of Church and State as defined in the constitution. Well, the constitution says NOTHING about Seperation of Church and State. Those words are not in there. What the constitution guarantees is that everyone anywhere and at any time and of any faith can practice their religion, and no one, not even the government, can stop them. Further, the constitution clearly states that the Government cannot establish BY LAW a national religion and mandate the people to practice that religion and that religion only. But these secularist zealots argue hard, and have even won unfair and unconstitutional judgements that present that any government entity that allows the display of any religious artifact, particularly a Christain artifact is in fact Congress Making A Law establishing a religion by endorsement. Its is NOT. Endorsing a religion is by displaying a faith based artifact is NOT an act of congress. Communist borne entities such as the ACLU will fight tooth and nail to have all vestages of christianity removed from public view. Good people of the United States should not stand for any such actions and fight them with everything they got at every turn. Please do not be fooled by the ACLU. They claim to stand up for civil rights. Nothing could be farther from the truth. They trample on more civil rights than they uphold. They also stand for civil rights that are in fact not rights at all. The kicker is that every time they win one of those lawsuits that violates your right to your religious freedom, they get paid big money from our Government. So essentially, with your tax dollars, we are paying them to violate our own rights. Think about that. For more information on this subject with proof, please visit STOPTHEACLU.COM

Sounds like another "crutch" to me. Just something to make someone feel a little more "special" I suppose because if they require thier own "rights" it means they lack something that others don't have.... which is obvious. ;)
