I am a little over 8 weeks pregnant and went to the bathroom last night and noticed a little blood. The blood has stopped this morning, but I still wipe a little just a little light brown. I had a miscarriage in 2005 and am very scared. Did anyone else go through this, and didn't miscarry? Or is it normal, please help!

I experienced that in both my pregnancies at around the same time as you. I got checked out both times, and the doctors told me that everything looked good. My doctor told me that 70% of women will experience some sort of spotting during pregnancy.

I ended up giving birth to a healthy baby boy at 39 1/2 weeks, and I am now 22 weeks pregnant with my second child.

It would be a good idea for you to get checked out, just to be safe.

Good luck!

i am going thru this exact same thing right now!(i am 9 weeks along) it is very scary since the spotting is random and i can't figure out what i'm doing to cause it. my doctor has run every test possible checking for std's, infections etc. and can not give me any answer. they told me to take it easy, no sex or heavy lifting and to try to make it to week 12. as if thats a magic number that will make it stop! if i were you i would keep a log of any unsual discharge or spotting and call your doctor right away if you pass a clot, have cramping or a fever which are all very bad signs if you are spotting.
Good luck and hopefully it will stop soon.

This sounds precisely like what occurred to me. I suggestion I used to be having an highly early interval, and used to be much more at a loss for words while it used to be very mild and simplest lasted an excessively little while....Before too lengthy, I discovered I used to be most likely preggo, and that used to be obviously "Implantation bleeding". I have a wonderful youngster boy approximately to show three years olf in a couple of days. Not such a lot a youngster anymore! ;oO

yes, that is completely normal to spot while you are pregnant. It is called implantation bleeding. Also, if you are having brown blood that is considered old blood and nothing to worry about.

Ofcourse speak to your obgyn about this and don't just listen to people on here :)

Good Luck and Congrats

It could be implantation bleeding, but not all women get this (or notice it). Just to be sure, call your doc.

yup, it's perfectly normal ..

it could be "implanation bleeding" .. or "spotting after sex" ..

I had spotting from a low-lying placenta ... I'm 19 weeks prego and going strong! :)

good luck and enjoy your pregnancy!

God bless! :)
