It may be in the genes ~ I don't express my hatred towards my own biological mother even if I damn angry at her --- I mean, hey she's your mother, and get used to it! If you call her b*tch then it means you're considering yourself as a son of b*tch!

Sounds to me as if you need to talk to a professional and not answers from Yahoo. There are Moms that do not nurture the child and who's life style might confuse you. Maybe the Mom you talk about needs to talk to a professional too. Sounds like she might be unhappy, unable to cope with her life. I imagine your words of hate cut her to the core. Cut her some slack, have a heart to heart with her if possible. I wish you all the luck and do hope you can "lose your bitterness' as it will spoil your life. You will become the same person you so hate.

My mum thinks I should be nice to her because she's nice to me. Of course, you should never assume others should treat you in a certain way, especially if you treat them badly. Do unto others and all that. It applies to everyone, mothers inclusive.
